How to control an animation in the Timeline
Objective: Add the get card animation to the timeline
In a previous article I created a timeline to make a cut between the virtual cameras in the sleeping guard shot. Now I’m gonna add the animation of Darren stealing the card from the guard.
First step is to make right click on the timeline and select “add animation track”.
Next we have to drop the actor in the animation track. Then we have to right click, select add animation clip and select the animation we want to run. In this case “get card” animation.
And that’s it!!! You can decide to move the animation to fit better in the timeline. In this case it looks good like this and also you can use the white guide to preview the animation without playing the game.
